My eldest has been writing simple sentences for a while now and I wanted to get one down in my scrapbook so I don't forget. More gorgeous Crate paper pattern paper, Jenni Bowlin tag, vintage crepe paper which I used to make the pennant, and my new fav these old (LOL) prima canvas letters. PS He does love to draw as well ...that little girl is his best friend Kate who he just adores!
Till next time...

Just beautiful! And what a clever little boy you have! An awesome way to remember these beginner steps!
Kim, this is so inspiring! Your mix of papers and embellies is just perfect. I would never have thought to mix such shabby chic papers with children's art but you made it work perfectly! You are a true artist!
This is such a great LO and a wonderful memory to capture! Oh how I wish I'd been scrapping when my boys were little but they're 19 and 21 now and all those tiny everyday moments, which are always the best ones to capture, are so long in the past now. :-(
Kim I am truly amazed by your work, the way you capture the real everyday things in your scrapping is truly inspirational :)
So awesome how you incorporated Addison's beautiful drawing into your page. He certainly is clever too!! Absolutely love that idea and would love to try it myself if only Hayley would let me have one of hers!!! Love your crepe paper pennant too Kim. Gorgeous embellies.
Oh I adore this! The clipped artwork and pennant and title and just every little bit of it--absolutely gorgeous and what an awesome slice of childhood.
What a clever little boy you have! Such a STUNNER..and love how you have documented this, will be great to look back on! :))xx
How clever is your little man!!!! And what a wonderful way to preserve the memory :-) ... I can see why you really need some rocket themed pp's ;-) ;-) ;-)

Isn't he clever!! Gorgeous page and you are doing an awesome job at photographing your work lately!!
Fantastic page! I love the floral on a 'boys' layout and the penant too.
This page is fantastic. I love what your theme is. My 4 and a half has also just started writing simple sentences as well! This is a great idea to scrap..well done.
P.S..from a primary school teachers point of view---His writing is AMAZING! Is he at school yet? How did he learn to write?
This is such an awesome idea. I love his pic and the sentence. How cute?
And I would never think to use a floral paper with some art work but wow, it looks fabulous.
So amazing Kim.

OMG - that is just THE CUTEST! Go Addison! (Seems he takes after mum's creative talents.) I so love how you scrapped this Kim (and can't wait to see when you get him scrapping, he'll be a great at journaling!)
I have yet to incorporate my kids' actual artwork into a page so this serves as an excellent example!!
Awwww that is just adorable!!
Love how you have made this LO around the artwork and story!! Such a treasure to have documented. I was always a big fan of keeping my girls' work and have boxes in my basement filed away. Hmm Maybe one day I will scrap a sample of each. BTW Amazing printing for 4 years old!!!
Too precious! Love that you used flowered pp!
