I love Color Fresh!

I am totally in love with the Heidi Swapp  Color Fresh  collection. The bright vibrant colours and designs appeal to my colour loving self and I can't stop making layouts with the collection. I also love that you can find it at your local JoAnn store!

This photo was taken on Mother's Day this year and I couldn't wait to get it scrapped. I started with two pattern papers from the Color Fresh collection and layered them on top of each other.

I then cut that fun cut file from Paige Evans with some white card stock and layered it onto a piece of white card stock. I then layered on my photo and embellishments from the Color Fresh Ephemera pack.

I then added that layered heart cut from some of my favourite patterns from the collection and adhered it over the Love cut file.

I typed my journaling onto one of the Color Fresh tags and slipped it behind my photo for some hidden journaling. I cannot wait to scrap again with this gorgeous fun and bright collection. The best thing is you can find this collection at your local JoAnn store!

Heidi Swapp Travel journal

In 2 weeks my family and I are heading to Europe for the trip of a life time! We will be spending 5 weeks travelling around from London, France, Italy and Greece. I wanted to make myself a travel diary to write down my thoughts and favourite places visited so I decided to use the Heidi Swapp Journal Studio Gold Glitter Journal.

I began by adding a couple of Charms to the elastic around the cover. I added one of the Paige Evans charms from her Horizon collation too.

I then took out the "Lets Do This" journal and got to work.  I decided to make a title page for each city we were visiting then count out the number of days spent there and leave that may pages free. I ended up being able to fit our whole trip in the one journal.

I love the way the journal looks inside the gold glitter cover. Each title page was created the same way. I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to fit the page, cut a cut file on my Silhouette cameo then adhered it to the white cardstock. I then adhered the white cardstock to the page. On the opposite side I trimmed a piece off pattern paper to fit the page and then embellished the pages.

I created my title page using a Paige Evans cut file that I cut on white cardstock. I embellished the cut file with some stickers from the Heidi Swapp Color Fresh collection.

Next I added a piece of pattern paper from the Paige Evan's Horizon collection to the left and that suitcase cut file file on the right. I used some of the clear stamps from the collection to embellish the journal card.

For london I used that Paige Evans  clock cut file that I cut in half. On the left I added that pattern paper from the Heidi Swapp Color Fresh collection and embellished with stickers from the Color Fresh sticker booklet.

For Paris I used another pattern paper from the Color Fresh collection and added some of my vintage Heidi Swapp stamps on the Journal Studio card.

Another peice of Color Fresh pattern paper, washi and ephemera from the Journal Studio collection and that cool cut file from Paige Evans.

The gorgeous pattern paper from the Paige Evans Horizon collection is the perfect way to introduce Florence. I added ephemera from the Journal studio collection and that fun Paige Evans' cut file.

That striped pattern paper again from the Color Fresh collection was the perfect complement to the Adventure Cut file from Paige Evans.

I found this stunning cut file in the Silhouette store and couldn't wait to use it for my Venice title page. More vintage Heidi Swapp stamping and on the left that striking pattern paper from the Heidi Swapp Color Fresh collection.

Another cute cut file I found in the Silhouette store, more pattern paper from the Color Fresh collection and ephemera from the Journal Studio collection represents Athens.

Finally some bright bold pattern paper from the Paige Evens Horizon collection and layered Journal Studio ephemera pieces kick start my Greek Islands title page. Teamed with that fun Cut file from the Silhouette store and fun stamping completes my travel journal!
We are so excited to go and I cannot wait to fill it up with all of my favourite memories.

Wolf Pack meets Game of Thrones

If you are a big fan of Game Of Thrones and want to record it in your scrapbooks then the
Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack collection is the perfect collection to use! The subtle masculine colours and designs fit the theme perfectly. I couldn't wait to record my feelings about my favourite TV show!

Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack

I created a grid  style layout with my photos on the Wander Double Sided pattern paper.! I then added some of the puffy stickers and stamps from the collection in and around my photos.

Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack

I added one of the adhesive badges for added texture to the top of my layout.

Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack

I also added a strip of washi tape from the collection across the  bottom of my layout to hide a strip of pattern paper that didn't suit the theme of my layout.

Aladdin printable for my Heidi Swapp Memory Planner

I am so excited to head to the movies this weekend to see the new Aladdin movie. The original movie has been a favourite of mine since it first came out so I am interested to see how this one will compare. Not to mention I am a huge Will Smith fan !! To celebrate I wanted to create a special page divider in my Heidi Swapp Memory Planner. I thought what better way than with a touch of Minc foil!
Heidi Swapp Minc

I created this printable with a fun take on my favourite song " Friend Like me". Everyone needs a friend like a Genie right!

Heidi Swapp Minc

I printed it out onto some vellum using my Laser printer  and then sent it through my Minc machine with some of the New Gold Star Minc foil. I then used the Heidi Swapp 6  hole punch to punch the holes and added it straight into my Memory Planner. I love the way it looks!
If you would like a copy of the printable for yourself just download the printable below and save it to your computer!

See you at the movies!

I am sharing two cards today.
The first  card using the Basic Blooms and Die stencil.

I layered up my  warm coloured inks  for the petals for a sunshiny feel to my card.  I then used the matching die to cut out each stamped flower, layering them with foam tape for extra dimension on the front of the card.

I then stamped a couple of the sentiments from the Basic Blooms stamp set onto white cardstock and trimmed them out and added them to my card.

For my second card I used the beautiful Dare To Dream Stamp set.

The patterns reminded me of Aegean designs so I took some of my cool coloured ink pads and stamped for the the designs onto white cardstock. I then trimmed out each stamped image.

I added them in a grid design on my cardstock, popping them up with foam tape for extra dimension. I added my sentiments using the Basic Blooms sentiments.
I hope I have inspired you with some of the gorgeous new stamps. Be sure to head to the lovely
Caly Person for the next stop on the blog hop!

Young Jedi meets Wolf Pack

Have you seen the brand new Heidi Swapp collection called Wolf Pack! It is filled with awesome boyish  and outdoor patterns and designs. It also contains a few papers and ephemera pieces with a night sky theme . I thought what a better way to celebrate the collection with a layout about my son and his Jedi training at Disneyland.

Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack

I took that gorgeous sky background  from the collection as my base and adhered my photos on a diagonal design.

Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack

I then added my title using the Wolf Pack thickers, straight  onto my photo.

Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack

I  took some of the ephemera pieces and added them in and around my photos.

Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack

Finally, to complete my layout I added my word journalling strips beneath my photos.

Rad layout !

Back in January I had the pleasure of catching up with the lovely Megan  from the Sweet Tooth Fairy. She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet so I wanted to dedicate a layout to her. Her bright cherry red dress stood out to me so I had to keep that as a focus.  I chose to use the Heidi Swapp Color Fresh collection and as my base pattern paper that gorgeous red and pink pattern paper!

I then found this fun cupcake stand cut file from  Paige Evans, cut it in white cardstock and then backed it with pattern paper from the 6x6  Color Fresh paper pad.  I added pop dots and layered it onto my layout!

I then typed up my journaling using my We R Memory Keepers typecast typewriter

I  used the We R Memory Keepers Mini Guillotine Cutter to trim my journaling into strips. It is so easy to use!

I then adhered them straight onto my layout!

The We R Memory Keepers Mini Guillotine Cutter is my new favourite tool when I am scrapbooking, it makes cutting my journaling strips, photos and pattern papers so easy!
