the messy one......

This month at Scrap The Boys there is grungy/messy theme happening....anyone who knows me knows messy is a little out of my comfort zone so this is as messy as it gets. I began with papers from the Heidi Swapp Favorite Things collection.

I used some water colour paper and watered down water colour to create my messy stripes. I picked up the colours that were in my photos  for the  coloured stripes. I then grabbed some Heidi Swapp Ephemera pieces in coordinating colours to embellish under my photo.

I further embellished my page with some words and ephemera pieces then added some machine stitching and eeek dare I say some handwritten journaling.

I hope you get a chance to play along.

Love the color, and the paint under your photo looks fabulous.. I had fun with this challenge, had ink all over my fingers from all the stamping, and yes took me out of my comfort zone too, but I had fun!!
