the heart army...

After the floods here in Queensland and Brisbane I know I and many others were feeling flat for weeks afterwards. To say the devastation affected me is an understatement! You will see in my journalling below I found a way for myself to start to feel good again and to help those in need in their darkest hours and days.I will let it speak for itself
.EDTITED TO ADD someone asked me for the link to the Brisbane adoption site so here is the link.
thanks for letting me share, It seems a little bit of scrapbook therapy is good for the soul.
Thankyou also for the sweet comments on my last post, I am blown away by all your kind words.
till next time...

I left all the 'technical' feedback in the HBS gallery so for now I will just leave you the personal stuff. I take my hat off to you for what you have done for others - it just shows what a kind, generous, and caring spirit you have. It is people like you that make the world a better place Kim. Thank you for being you. XXX

this is so beautiful Kim...i think everyone has been affected in some way, and those who are sensitive have been profoundly moved even if they didn't live in the areas touched by the floods.. i too have found that by helping in any way it has helped heal my hurt a little.. i know what you have done will be appreciated.. such a simply embellished layout, but the soul of it shines through.. love lizzy..xxx

Kim I could study this for hours. I think it is my new fave of yours. It is just gorgeous, especially that bodice and wings. I love the way you did the title and your embellies are divine. I love your pic but most of all, love the journaling and what a special person you are.

@Sandra D - If you're who I think you are, you met me at our S-Up club at Pullenvale on Saturday. If you received the email from Rita, that's me and the items Rita gave me are going to this adoption site :)
