Minc and Memory Planner fun!

One of the things I love to do in my Heidi Swapp Memory Planner is to create clear inserts using my Minc! I love the clear, shimmery and interactive nature that adds that something special to my planner pages. This year I am using the Art Walk Classic Planner.   Let me share my newest insert with you.

Heidi Swapp Minc

I began by creating this printable using Keynote on my computer. I then printed it out onto some clear acetate using my laser printer. It is important that the printer used is a laser printer as it is the toner ink that reacts with the Minc foil.
I then used some of the new Star Minc foil and ran it through my Minc.

I punched holes in the acetate and stapled a tab to the side and added it into my planner.

I love the shimmer and shine as the clear page is lifted.

The  Clear page lifts up to reveal more photos and memories underneath.
What I love about this technique is how quick and easy it is to create a striking element to add into my planner.
I hope you too try this technique out in your Heidi Swapp Planner too!

I just love the foiling on the acetate Kim. What brand is it and where do you purchase the acetate?
