Hey boy...

Having two boys it was easy to use the new collection from BasicGrey called Hey Boy! The collection is full of bright bold boyish patterns and colours!

My new love a little bit of hand stitching....

This time I added my  son's best friend Kate to the mix!

Before I go have you seen this months guest designer over at Greatest View, my favourite blogger of all time Stephanie Howell. There is a *GIVEAWAY*  happening on the Greatest View blog as well, pop on over to see the first of Stephanie's layouts!

Party Time!!

I recently created some party decorations using the Heidi Swapp No Limits collection!

I grabbed some bags from the $2 shop and decorated them with pattern paper and other elements to create my party bags! The rocket I cut and pieced together using my cameo using a download from the Silhouette store.

I used a frame from Ikea to create this table decoration.

I bought this wooden rocket from Spotlight a while ago, I covered it in No Limits pattern paper, trimmed it then added a photo in a mini Instaframe.

Finally my friend baked me some cupcakes. I decorated them with banners and mini rockets adhered to toothpicks and then gently pushed into the frosting!

Photobooth fun

Two weeks ago I had the honour and pleasure and teaching at the best retreat in Australia called Escape 2 Create. During the 4 day event I had the chance to get to know better the fabulous  and talented Ebony van der Starre  and Sharmaine Kruijver who were the other teachers. Alongside my very good friend Gail we had a lot of laughs. One of the highlights was a photo booth that was set up during the weekend and the four of us joined in the fun. We laughed and laughed and laughed! What a hoot!! During the retreat we had a challenge amongst the 4 of us to scrap the photo in our own style and today we are all sharing our creations.

Couldn't go past this flair button from Greatest View!

You will notice that the 4 of us all have very distinctively differing styles...I would love you to check out the girl's blogs and leave some love too!
   Ebony
During my class I got to teach a Heidi Swapp Memory File project to 60 fabulous ladies, initially my class went for 3 hours on the Friday night but I was so pleased to see so many girls working on it all weekend and so chuffed when they excitedly showed me their finished memory file.
I can't leave without sharing another favourite photo- Gail and I along side another fabulous friend Kerryn , it was great to have 3 members of the Greatest View DT all together!

A weekend not to forget!

behind..

I have fallen behind posting my Project life pages.
Today I am posting my title page for 2013 using my favourite photo from our trip to Disneyland earlier in the year. I had the photo printed at Camera House to 12 x 12, then trimmed it to fit inside the pockets of the page protector. I use the WRMK page protectors because I like the square pockets in the centre.
I'm also sharing my week 8 spread.

 The left side.

I love this flair from Greatest View!

and the right side.

That sweetheart card is a digital download from Heidi Swapp.

I created a little pocket to add some journaling and extra photos!

the magic of Easter...

Being Easter soon I created a couple of Easter cards  for the Heidi Swapp blog. I decided to use Color Magic paper and Color Shine mist on all my cards as well as some papers from the new release Serendipity collection.

Here I've done some hand stitching on the  Color Magic note!

The yummy Easter flair is of course from Greatest View!

...and used my cameo to cut out the egg shape on the next two cards.

Another flair from Greatest View.

                                                               Happy Easter to you all!
