Love- mixed media

Sharing this layout that was up on the Heidi Swapp blog recently. It showcases a favourite photo of my son and I on a carousel at Luna Park in Melbourne. But more than that this photo springboards all types of memories from our weekend away to Melbourne.... I Love that scrapbooking can do that, a simple photo and some journaling are very powerful, a way to keep our families memories and stories alive!

I combined papers from the September Skies collection with new  stencils and  Texture paste colours from  the Mixed Media collection.

The teal texture paste might be my favourite.

And here you can see I used the dot stencil with the Silver texture paste and overlaid it with the Clear card fro the Project Life set!

I really love the subtle dimension the texture paste brings to my projects!
