Can you believe we are at the end of 2017! I am thrilled that I have captured all  my family's memories in my Heidi Swapp Time Flies Memory Planner!

November Memory Planner pages

Welcome to November in my Heidi Swapp Memory Planner. With only days till the end of 2017 I love that I have a whole years worth of memories filled in my planner!

The prompt page introduces my birthday month!

The pocket pages are filled with photos and memories , complemented with journaling using my We R memory Keepers typecast typewriter.

Forever memories of my youngest!

Since November was my birthday month I created a fun interactive element using a clear acetate sheet I adhered with washi to the calendar page!

I love the way it lifts to reveal the page underneath.

Finally my calendar page  filled with tiny snippets of journaling, photos and most of all memories!

Vintage Instax flip calendar

I love all things pretty and this gorgeous  Vintage Instax Flip calendar from Heidi Swapp is no exception. I adore the dramatic black and floral print. I love that you can date it your self so it can be used any year and I love that you can add photos such as Instax photos into the gold glitter frames that come in the kit!

It is easy to customise with the included date stickers and a touch of washi from your stash!

and as it is hung in your home it adds a statement piece to your home decor because of the stunning front cover. I cant wait to hang it in the new year!

In a galaxy far far away with my letterboard...

Hand up if you are excited for the next instalment of Star Wars! We are headed there this morning so I couldn't help but celebrate with my Heidi Swapp  black letter board.
I used three sizes of the  white letters to simulate the words rolling along the screen like in the opening credits!

My boys thought it was an absolute hoot!

Heidi Swapp Memory Planner at Spotlight

It's almost time to ring in the new year! What better way than to celebrate 2018 than with a new planner. For all my Aussie friends Spotlight now has two exclusive  Heidi Swapp Planner kits just in time for Christmas.
This kit is a beautiful spiral bound planner with inserts for photos a dashboard page, monthly calendar and a week by week double page spread!

I love the gold splash along the cover of the planner.

The dashboard page has plenty of space to get all your pre planning done for the month.

I added one of the pretty filler cards from the kit into my spiral binding.

On the week by week page there is room enough for photos, journaling and embellishments.

Elf on the shelf

Yes.... It is that time of year again! The Elf on the Shelf is back!
What better way to celebrate than with the Heidi Swapp Black letter board and our Elf James.
As my boys came down stairs this morning we heard a squeal and some stamping back up the stairs to say "James" was back.
What joy it is to know the boys are still so full of joy for such simple things at Christmas.

I teamed the black Letterboard with the white 2 inch letters, they are a perfect contrast for the letter board!

Heidi Swapp sticker book

Have you spotted the new Heidi Swapp sticker books? It is jam packed with 32 pages full to the brim of colourful stickers. I went through the booklet and literally couldn't find my favourite sticker so I decided to rip two full pages out of the booklet and adhere them down to create a background for my layout.

I then used one of Paige Evan's new cut files from the silhouette store that cool photo banner and laid it over the top.

I used some of my Heidi Swapp colorshine to create an ombré effect for my title.

To add a touch of texture to my layout I added some hand stitching trails behind my Paige Evans butterflies from her Turn the Page collection.

Christmas with my Lightboxes

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, my favourite time of the year. I am slowly starting to fill my home with little pieces of Christmas decor before the full day of decorating comes on December the 1st.
Living in Australia and having Christmas fall in Summer I love decorating with bright pops of colour.  My first stop was  a couple of my  Heidi Swapp Lightboxes.

I added two of them onto a shelf I have at home, the original plus the shelf lightbox. I then added a couple of my bright funky coloured mini trees and felt ball banner from stash to complete the vignette.

For the shelf lightbox I used one of the non Christmas slides as my background, I love the pop of pink and yellow. I then slid in the celebrate slide and used two other fonts (the black and pink)to complete my quote!

I grabbed the Bright slide then again the same fonts as before to tie it all together for my regular lightbox. I then grabbed two icon slides from the Holidays pack an My lightbox was complete.

Heidi Swapp 4 inch Marquee Love letters

I love a good DIY project as much as the next person but sometimes I love a little help along the way too! These fun Heidi Swapp 4 inch Marquee Love letters  can be found in Australia at your local Spotlight store. They can be decorated  with paint, paper, glitter or what ever your heart desires , then strung together to light up with a cute little remote on/off switch...which is the perfect combo of DIY decor!

YOU simply choose the letters you need to create a word, customise them to suit your decor then add the bulbs and string them together to light up!

They look so lovely light up during the day or night, and make a pretty home decor piece for your home!

October in My Memory Planner

My Heidi Swapp Time Flies Memory Planner is one of my most favourite memory keeping concepts that helps me record my family's stories. Today I am sharing my October pages with you.

The first page, the prompt page celebrates my son's birthday this month. I layered clear embellishments and stickers from the Memory Planner collection for texture and depth.

Photos in the pocket page simply embellished and journaling added using my We R Memory Keepers   Typecast Typewriter.

I added a second photo onto this pocket page by clipping it to the edge of my page.

I designed  this printable and then printed it onto vellum and then used my Minc and laminating pouches to create a more sturdier printable and then added it into my planner.

October was busy so I used one of the extra pockets from the Memory Planner collection to add in some more photos.

I used a hole punch and then snipped into each hole from the edge to place it into the spirals of my planner.

Fun Halloween photos.

The calendar page is a catch all for small and big moments. I adorned my page with stickers and small embellishments from the Memory Planner collection and that Boo sticker from the Storyline collection.

Another month down, another month's memories recorded forever!
