Life lessons and goodies..

Today I am excited to share a new layout I created for my online class with Heidi Swapp over at Big Picture Scrapping, this week we had to create a project about life lessons, it was very thought provoking. I decided to make a layout for my eldest using the quote LIVE LOVE LAUGH. I have used one of Heidi's new file folders and attached it to my layout with adhesive. I had my friend who is a graphic designer create the label for my CD which I down loaded some videos from my Iphone onto.

You may notice a few new things- the chevron ribbon, new sunflair button and small kraft baggie, these will be available in the NEW RELEASE this coming Friday at Greatest View.

 I am thinking of creating a tutorial in the coming weeks for a similar project if anyone would be interested!

Little friends

Last week at Core'dinations we had a swap with Authentique and we got to play with their new Carefree line. I teamed that with some yummy whitewash cardstock and these cute photos of my son and his little friend playing with his little red wagon.

7 years...

Recently my husband and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary.....Basic Grey's Kissing Booth collection was just perfect for my layout, so soft and sweet.

I have some more exciting news to share, if you are headed to the Scrapbook and Papercraft Convention in Brisbane in June I am excited to share that I will be teaching there. My class is sponsored by Core'dinations cardstock and Scrapbook Supplies Online. In my class you will learn lots of cool techniques to distress the Coredinations cardstock, I will also teach you how to coordinate the cardstock with some yummy Jillibean Soup papers and elements. We will complete two layouts in the class. I hope to see you there!

Exciting...

Over at Elle's Studio we are so thrilled to have her new website, gallery and forum up and running. She casts a spell....

I have shared before the special relationship my son has with his little friend Kate. It's like she casts this magic spell over him, he is devoted to her and does things for her (like sharing pencils and writing her silly little stories) that he does for no one else. I created this layout as part of my Art of Observation  online class with Heidi Swapp, we had to create a project for something that AMAZED us and this sweet photo sure fitted it perfectly.

  I created a little booklet  and added my journaling and extra photos layerd with tags and secured it with  a brad!

Although it's Autumn here in Australia, we recently went on a family outing to the beach where the boys went searching amongst the rockpools and sand because the tide was low. HOW I wish every Sunday could be like this. I have used the yummy UP and AWAY collection from Basic Grey for my layout, it is to die for.
