This month at scraploot we were given the task of creating some heritage layouts. I was given some beautiful Prima papers and products. Here are my DT layouts for this month. I must say at first I felt a little anxious about heriatge layouts but once I started I really enjoyed completing them.

I actually created a mini album with some feft over chipboard journalling blcks that were in my pack but Ill share them later in the week.

my challenge for scraploots cyber crop tomorrow night is for you to use your scraps to create a scene on your layout, you can use the whole page as I have done or just do a small scene, as a bonus I would like you to use some felt somewhere on your layout. We are doing it again, we had so much fun on our last Cyber Crop that we have decided to hold another one. So join the girls from Scraploot for our next Cyber Crop being held on our Blog on Friday May 29th starting at 7.30pm. This month the theme is Mothers. Hi everyone, week 4 over at wicked princesssven deadly sins comp was sloth. We had to use light blue only and stitching. Here is my take, We also had to use a non scrapping item on our page, can you guess what I used ?

This is actually Addison at about six months Ive been looking back at some of my older layouts and redoing.

seven deadly sins

For the last 3 weeks and the next 4 I have been participating in the 7 deadly sins competition over at wicked princess. Here are my first 3 layouts.

Week 1 vanity, we had to scrap about a time when we felt proud of our selves, I scrapped Addisons difficult birth. We also were onlyt to use the colour purple in our layout.

week 2 envy , we had to scrap what we are envious about, i did the boys and actually scrapped the opposite, talking about Larsens love and admiration for Addison. We had to use the colours green and black only.

Week 3 Wrath, we had to scrap what makes us angry. I scrapped Addisons terrible two stage of tantrums. We had to use the colours red and black, use distressing on our page and paint effects. Took me way out of my comfort zone but I was happy with the results.

some layouts and the little man turns 5 months

I have been a busy little beaver with my scrapbooking lately, joining in some challenges and trying some new things. This first one is Larsen's 4 month milestone layout, its a bit hard to see but the journalling is on the red spot paper.

Addison is obsessed with diggers we see them all around North Lakes.

Larsen turned 5 months on Sunday, yikes the time is slipping away so fast. He is such a cutie, loves Addison chuckles at him all the time and follows him with his eyes. He has rolled a few times and "talks " non stop . On occasion he has slept through. He loves his new bumbo chair he can see what is happening all the time.

Being the beginning of the month I have my DT layouts for scraploot to share with you. I am so excited about my layouts this month, have been trying some new things and am so pleased with the outcome. I got to play with some yummy sassafrass lass papers.
