Never Say Never....

There is a fun new Mood board challenge over at Jot Magazine, lots of retro patterns and a great colour scheme of orange, red, green and brown.

This was  may take on the challenge, not having many flower embellies to fall back on I decided to just go with the colour scheme. I have used some of the yummy new papers from Bella Blvd to help me create my page.

I added a bit of stitching for some texture.

...and of course the all important journaling.

I hope you get a chance to play along.

If you are looking for the link for my exciting news from last week, I am co teaching a fab 4 week travel mini album class called Going Places over at Big Picture Classes, registration is open, you can join HERE ! I am totally totally over the moon excited!

  5. What an awesome layout! You really rocked the mood board! (I had to laugh at the subject too - I am at the point where I am about to buy TWO of those backpacks for the boys - I can't seriously be expected to walk twin toddlers without them can I?) ;)

  7. Fabulous layout, love the mix of papers and patterns.. and while I did not have a back pack like that for my kids, I think they are one of many wonderful things for toddlers and keeping close.. if you have ever lost a child in a shop, you will know how important it is to keep your kids close.. I did once, and I nearly died...

  8. Such a fun boy layout, Kim!! Love the stitching on the camouflage patterned paper! And we had one of the backpacks too, after our first almost ran out into one of the busiest roads, when she was 3 years old. I almost had a heart attack, and the next day a monkey backpack was purchased!!
