bag hooks...

Im not sure about you but when my boys come home from school their bags, hats and shoes are usually strewn all over the house. I decided I needed a bit of an area to store all these school pieces.
First I went down to Spotlight and grabbed a couple of wooden letters. Then over to Bunnings and grabbed a couple of hooks and a couple of coordinating rubber buckets.

Once home I painted the letters white with acrylic paint and once dry I traced the letters onto two pieces of patten paper from Heidi Swapp's No Limits collection. Perfect for my boys.
I then cut out the letters and used wood glue to adhere them to the letters. Once dry I sanded the edges for a more complete finish.

I then chose some digi words from Heidi's digi shop, cut them using my cameo onto white cardstock, spritzed them with Gold Lame ColorShine and adhered them onto the pattern paper. I finished with a coat of modge podge to protect the letters. We them attached it to the walls with the hooks and screws and added the buckets below for their shoes.

My boys love them!
