Basic Grey

I am  totally thrilled  and incredibly humbled to be offered a second term with BasicGrey. It really has been a dream come true this last 12 months and I am excited about the year ahead and gaining some inspiration from the other fabulous DT members.
Today I wanted to share a layout I made using the gorgeous new Serenade collection from BasicGrey.
This layout documents the name my eldest gave to my youngest when he was a baby because he couldn't pronounce the L sound correctly.


Although I have boys and mostly scrap my boys I love how the soft muted colour pallete combines almost a grungy feel to the papers and embellishments, making it suitable for my boys! The banner pieces from the elements sheets are defintely my favourite, I adore how each banner piece is different but they work together beautifully!

    oh, Kim! huge congrats! I love how you use these soft papers with your boys' pictures! and what an awesome layout! Narsen!:) kids are so funny when trying to say their own names to someone or somewhat :) thanks for the inspiration that I always find in your layouts!

    Love the yellow. Yellow is a difficult color for me to design with.

    Love the LO & the subject of it! :) So sweet! I'm always looking for two page LOs!! I have TONS of pics I want scrapped & so many LOs are just single page...sometimes it's nice to see a whole 2-pg LO & not have to always come up with the other half! :) Congrats on another DT term!!
