he writes...

My eldest  has been writing simple sentences for a while now and I wanted to get one down in my scrapbook so I don't forget. More gorgeous Crate paper pattern paper, Jenni Bowlin tag, vintage crepe paper which I used to make the pennant,  and my new fav these old (LOL) prima canvas letters. PS He does love to draw as well ...that little girl is his best friend Kate who he just adores!

Till next time...

  2. Kim, this is so inspiring! Your mix of papers and embellies is just perfect. I would never have thought to mix such shabby chic papers with children's art but you made it work perfectly! You are a true artist!

  3. This is such a great LO and a wonderful memory to capture! Oh how I wish I'd been scrapping when my boys were little but they're 19 and 21 now and all those tiny everyday moments, which are always the best ones to capture, are so long in the past now. :-(

  21. Love how you have made this LO around the artwork and story!! Such a treasure to have documented. I was always a big fan of keeping my girls' work and have boxes in my basement filed away. Hmm Maybe one day I will scrap a sample of each. BTW Amazing printing for 4 years old!!!
