I am excited to share my first project as Guest Designer for
Mei Li Paperie this month. I met the girls from Mei Li Paperie when they came to CHA in January and being fellow Aussies I recognised their accent straight away. So I was very chuffed when they emailed me recently asking me to guest design for them. They sent me some yummy Basic Grey Second City collection pieces as well as some other goodies.
My first layout uses this months
Colour Challenge .
If you want to play along there is a fabulous Echo Park Creative Agenda prize pack to win. See their blog
here to find out all the details.
I loved the bright bold colours and patterns so couldn't go past these crazy fun photos of my eldest recently.
I teamed the Kelly Purkey papers with that
Heidi Swapp Project Life Stamp and added a touch of texture by using the Heidi Swapp Mini pattern stencil with some Matte Gel Medium both which they have in
store.
I layered those frames over my photos to hide some distracting figures in the photos.
and of course the all important journaling!
I hope you can play along!
Mei Li is a lovely challenge site....I just find the fortnight too short to join in! LOOOVE the houses down the bottom & those frames on the photos....they look fabulous!!!
