A few weeks ago I was asked by the lovely
Maggie Massey and
Sarah Bargo to be their Guest Designer for their new challenge feed over on Instagram called
Society 52, a weekly challenge over on Instagram.
My challenge was to create a project about a childhood memory. I couldn't go past combining this old photo of my husband's lego truck he built as a child with photos taken recently of him and the boys building together.
Something I am loving lately is hand cut titles!
I loved using the Crate paper boys collection for my layout, super super cool.!
If you are on Instagram I hope you can join in the fun of Society 52.
Such a fun layout and this collection is so perfect with these photos!!!
ReplyDeleteLove how colorful most of your LOs are...
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderfully constructed page, but more so, it's so full of memories....sooo special, too:):) My sad Lego story [well, DUPLO, actually] is I've had mine for 24 years....got it out last week for the 1st time for Lucas [grand boy]....& the DOG ATE A FENCE....grrrr! It was in perfect condition - only had 4 fences. Now I [sorry, LUCAS!!!} can't make a paddock any more. Dang DOG:(!!!!
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous layout. So many fun elements and it's a lovely memory to document. I'm also a sucker for stitching...
ReplyDeleteLove your fun Lego layout Kim, and the hand cut letters for the title!!
ReplyDeleteOMG Kim, you have such a way with color and embellies ... love your work xoxo
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous page of lego memories. Showed Ben and he was in awe of the construction work that he kept asking me to open up your blog again. :)
