SAY I LOVE YOU

Hi and welcome to the last stop on the  #HeidiswappSayILoveYou  Media Team Blog Hop!
Our aim today is to get back to giving an old fashioned card and gift instead of texting and emailing ! If you haven't already started with Heidi Swapp's project make sure you do! She has some freebies to *giveaway* as well so be sure not to miss out on those.

Love can be shown in all different ways, I love the act of giving it always warms my heart. I chose to create my card using the new Color Magic heart card. I wanted to make my card as a token of appreciation and thanks for my youngest son's teacher  who started his first  year of school last week, I wanted to thank her for helping him settle into school so well.

To create the window I used one of the Color Magic Ephemera heart pieces  which was the same heart shape to trace around on the front of the card.

I then used my craft knife to trim around it. I then  added some heart glitter between two pieces of clear plastic and adhered that to the back of the heart on the inside of the card.

I misted my card with Chartreuse Color Shine and added paper from the Hello Today paper pad on the inside of the card. I then added an acrylic butterfly to the front of my card by bending up the wings.

To complete I stamped the word thank you using the  new wooden stamps and created some banner pieces. I then tied a piece of silk ribbon to hold it closed.

Yesterday he shyly gave her the card and small gift I had made for her, it was such a sweet moment and she was very touched.

**If you have missed any of the other girls blogs here is a list for you**
