Over at Scrap the Boys there is a new challenge for the month of February. This month the challenge is to create a layout about your boys and someone that is important to them. My first thought was my boys are important to each other! They play all day together when they can, usually at the lego table ( LOL), so my choice was easy.
I have combined the Heidi Swapp Mixed Company collection with a little older Bella Blvd and October Afternoon! I added some heavy vellum over the black and white striped paper from Mixed Company to tone it down a little.
A new found love, stitching over chipboard words!
That lego washi tape was the perfect finishing touch to my layout!
I hope you get a chance to play along for a chance to win some fabulous prizes!
Oh I love everything about this LO!! I have always wanted to stitch over letters but thought it wouldn't go through. I should try to give it a go. That lego table is amazing! Such lucky little boys to have such a talented grandpa. :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow yes they are lucky to have each other, what great mates they must be.. fabulous layout Kim, great photos, love all your cute embellies too.. have made a note of this one on my challenge to do list!!
ReplyDeleteAwww...this is lovely & so reminds me of when my boys were young...can't wait til my grandboy is old enough to play with their Leggo!!! LOOOVE the graphic lines, & the vellum does a fab job of softening it up....& go you with the stitching:):):)
ReplyDeleteAwesome page Kim!! Love those b&w stripes in the background!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun page! My boys also seriously love LEGO. =)
ReplyDeleteAnd is that LEGO washi tape on the bottom? May I ask where you got it?
This is just so awesome Kim! I like the addition of the vellum. I need to get more. The lego washi caught my eye immediately. :) They are lucky to have each other. Ben is so envious of your lego table. LOL He is SO into Legos too. Lots of building (and destroying like Larson and Addison).
