I have been putting off scrapping these photos of Addison turning 4 for a couple of months now..... in denial I think that my oldest is off to preschool in a couple of weeks!
Spy the
scrapware letters, birdcage and space ships!....I think I am totally in love with shaped papers too, I seem to be using them on most of mylayout!
Till next time...
Kim the way you combine products, papers & colours really does not ever cease to amaze me! Gorgeous photos of your "little" big man too. He's just going to love preschool.
ReplyDeleteWow isn't he a grown up boy! Love the colours in this layout Kim and the chipboard is perfect! :)
ReplyDeleteWait until your youngest starts school ;).
ReplyDeleteLove this layout Kim :).
Gorgeous stuff...as usual ;) Love how you have the 2 different coloured photos...such a happy pic too! They certainly do grow up quickly...enjoy every minute of it!
ReplyDeleteThis LO is so wonderful!! I love the shaped paper over the JB paper! The vibrant colours are great and love the mix of picture colour. I hear your pain regarding the going to play school thing. Although my girls are now grown, I remember so clearly how, as much as I was happy for their excitement of a new journey, I was sad to see them leaving me. It isn't always easy being a mom. It isn't fair that they grow up! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a little cutie :-) Hard to believe our babies are growing up! Loving the chippies and the shaped pp's too :-)
ReplyDeleteYOu know I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this layout!! I know how you feel about being in denile. My eldest is so grown up now after only halk a year in school!!! It is going by way to fast!!

ReplyDeleteGreat LO Kim. But having had Lachlan at school last year, although it makes it hard as you have lost having them around, at the same time you also gain new fun with them as you get to seen them learn and grow and start to develop new friendships.
ReplyDeleteI am so with you about denial...Noah is literally counting the days until starting school. I can't stand it...I almost cry when he starts counting...lol. Gorgeous as always...as are the other LO's below...sorry haven't been around much. We have been chilling around here and I am struggling to get back into our normal routine. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteSigh...just STUNNING!! I know what you mean...I have a little boy going to Kindy this year, time is just going to fast.. xo
ReplyDeleteGorgeous layout Kim!
ReplyDeleteLove, love this Kim!!
ReplyDeleteWill you email me at frances@scrapstreet.com ? I can not find your email on your blog. ;)
Love your design and colours. That bullseye paper is the coolest. They are gorgeous pics with that big smile. The journaling strips and twine look great too.
ReplyDeleteSweet page! Love this combo! They grow up too fast, don't they?!
ReplyDeleteYou already know how much I love this one :) :) He is such a handsome little guy. I hope the transition into preschool goes smoothly--for both of you! With DD she was crying for weeks at drop offs (and so was I) with DS he was just ready and so I couldnt be sad about it. Now they both love school so much. I know when DS starts K I will be a wreck again though. These big changes are hardest on us Moms I think. But having time alone with your youngest will be a really nice thing. Since he has never had that with you (being the second) he will really enjoy it. :)
ReplyDeleteKim i have left a blog award on my blog for you ...enjoy
ReplyDeleteman i always LOVE the way you use raw chippies.. fantastic..
ReplyDeleteLove the colours - the chippies are awesome - you will have your oldest going to prep and mine will be going to high school - what's scarier than that?
