As I started on this project about my youngest son, thinking of the title and journalling.. I had a flash back to a page I had made about two years ago about my eldest son when he was three also. The candid photo I took last weekend at out trip to the beach was almost the same as a photo I took two years ago also on a trip to the beach.... and so I couldn't resist creating a similar themed layout about the freedom of three.

 I have based my layout  on this new sketch over at Elle's Studio.

I have used some yummy Elle's Studio tags and buttons from Greatest View.

.... I have not shared a few cards that I have made recently for Core'dinations and Elle's Studio. The more cards I make the more I enjoy creating them and even better still giving them away and seeing friends and families reaction to a handmade card.
This first one for a friends MIL 70th birthday so soft and feminine. I embossed the vintage cardstock from Core'dinations and then added some Elle's Studio birthday tags,  Oh and I have added a sweet chevron  button from Greatest View.

This second one for my son's friend who recently turned 6. Cute and bright and boyish. Here I have used a new embossing folder from Darice, totally fun!

This month at Core'dinations they have an incredible inspiration colour pallette  based on this delish combo...

I loved the reds and yellows so  I focused mainly on those colours and accentuated my layout with touches of the other colours.
I am totally in love with these new 12 inch cut and emboss strips from Core'dinations they can be embossed and then cut into any length you want...perfect for a banner dont you think...Oh and how about that 12 inch embossing folder from Darice, you so need to ask your LSS to get those in for you!

I recently started an online class at Big Picture Classes with Heidi Swapp called the Art Of Observation. Our first task was to make an observation journal and I came up with this. I have used the  new PB&J collection pattern papers and embellishmenst from Basic Grey, I love the  fabulous fun designs and muted primary colours.

 I have also added a new Sunburst button available  from Greatest View.

she is so brave...

Today I wanted to share a very special layout that I created for my best friend. Her daughter has some health issues that continue to baffle the drs... Kate my friend's daughter has already been through so much at just 4 but her continuing strength sees her overcome each challenge with a zest for life only a 4 year old has....as I watch Kate blossom and grow I continue to be amazed at my friend and her husbands strength and capability to remain so postitive and brave.... I know I have gained strength from her....so I wanted to create this layout just for her to let her know how I felt and to celebrate her strength.

 

Easter treats.....

With Easter approaching I wanted to make a couple of Easter gifts for Addison's teachers. So I came up with these Easter treat bags, I filled them each with a chocolate  bunny and eggs and he gave them to them last week before school finished, they loved them!
