fun...

I forgot to post this layout last week, another using lots of goodies from Elle's Studio. I love how easy they are to mix and match and to layer, fun fun! My youngest having a ball in our new pool this last Summer.

 

handmade...

Although I like the look of handmade jewellery at  craft markets I have never really ventured into this area of craft myself,  however last week I decided to have a go.
So I started with these gorgeous handmade denim and pink flowers from Greatest View.

I then added these...... a chain from diva

                                   and  my friend sewed this base for me from denim and calico

                                                    I went through my button stash

                                                                   I  sewed and glued....

and came up with these!

I took the chance to scrap some photos of my oldest rockin out in the car to the Foo Fighters...It's a little thing both my sons do whenever they hear a Foo Fighters song on the radio, I love these little rituals captured and recorded to remember in the future...for me what scrapping is all about!

Today I want to share a few cards I have made recently.
This first one is for Core'dinations , last week we  had a blog swap with Imaginisce and I came up with this card using their i rock tool and gems.

fairytales...

Late last year my best friend's daughter was very very sick in intensive care, she spent three weeks in hospital ...pulling through I know because of her inner strength. This beautiful peaceful photo was taken by her dad one day while she was sleeping. When Kate came home just before Christmas I made this layout for my friend which I framed and gave it to her for Christmas.
The sweet happy colours and patterns of Bella Blvd's Spring line was just perfect for my layout, another project from my GDT spot for Bella Blvd this month.

When I first started scrapping many years ago  I haunted the pages of the  two peas in a bucket gallery and  there was one scrapper whos style  I fell completely in love with, I loved visiting her blog almost on a daily basis, she was to say my scrappy crush. Imagine my delight then when late last year THE Laura Vegas contacted me to be Guest Designer for Bella Blvd...woohoooooo to say I was excited is an understatement!!!
I created 5 projects in all for the Bella Blvd blog and I want to share my first today.
For this layout I used the goregous Winter Wonderland collection , to celebrate our  time in beautiful Jasper on our honeymoon!

 I have set a challenge over on the blog to journal on your layouts, I hope you can join in!

 

She...

Just over 18 months ago I met the most amazing friend. She has become extremely important to my family  and I. When I see her I see such a beautiful caring soul who loves her children so dearly and I am truly blessed to know her. I based my layout on this months inspiration challenge at Get Picky a GORGEOUS pallette.

 I am totally in love with these fun tags from Elle's Studio.
