Heidi Swapp sticker book

Have you spotted the new Heidi Swapp sticker books? It is jam packed with 32 pages full to the brim of colourful stickers. I went through the booklet and literally couldn't find my favourite sticker so I decided to rip two full pages out of the booklet and adhere them down to create a background for my layout.

I then used one of Paige Evan's new cut files from the silhouette store that cool photo banner and laid it over the top.

I used some of my Heidi Swapp colorshine to create an ombré effect for my title.

To add a touch of texture to my layout I added some hand stitching trails behind my Paige Evans butterflies from her Turn the Page collection.

Christmas with my Lightboxes

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, my favourite time of the year. I am slowly starting to fill my home with little pieces of Christmas decor before the full day of decorating comes on December the 1st.
Living in Australia and having Christmas fall in Summer I love decorating with bright pops of colour.  My first stop was  a couple of my  Heidi Swapp Lightboxes.

I added two of them onto a shelf I have at home, the original plus the shelf lightbox. I then added a couple of my bright funky coloured mini trees and felt ball banner from stash to complete the vignette.

For the shelf lightbox I used one of the non Christmas slides as my background, I love the pop of pink and yellow. I then slid in the celebrate slide and used two other fonts (the black and pink)to complete my quote!

I grabbed the Bright slide then again the same fonts as before to tie it all together for my regular lightbox. I then grabbed two icon slides from the Holidays pack an My lightbox was complete.

Heidi Swapp 4 inch Marquee Love letters

I love a good DIY project as much as the next person but sometimes I love a little help along the way too! These fun Heidi Swapp 4 inch Marquee Love letters  can be found in Australia at your local Spotlight store. They can be decorated  with paint, paper, glitter or what ever your heart desires , then strung together to light up with a cute little remote on/off switch...which is the perfect combo of DIY decor!

YOU simply choose the letters you need to create a word, customise them to suit your decor then add the bulbs and string them together to light up!

They look so lovely light up during the day or night, and make a pretty home decor piece for your home!

October in My Memory Planner

My Heidi Swapp Time Flies Memory Planner is one of my most favourite memory keeping concepts that helps me record my family's stories. Today I am sharing my October pages with you.

The first page, the prompt page celebrates my son's birthday this month. I layered clear embellishments and stickers from the Memory Planner collection for texture and depth.

Photos in the pocket page simply embellished and journaling added using my We R Memory Keepers   Typecast Typewriter.

I added a second photo onto this pocket page by clipping it to the edge of my page.

I designed  this printable and then printed it onto vellum and then used my Minc and laminating pouches to create a more sturdier printable and then added it into my planner.

October was busy so I used one of the extra pockets from the Memory Planner collection to add in some more photos.

I used a hole punch and then snipped into each hole from the edge to place it into the spirals of my planner.

Fun Halloween photos.

The calendar page is a catch all for small and big moments. I adorned my page with stickers and small embellishments from the Memory Planner collection and that Boo sticker from the Storyline collection.

Another month down, another month's memories recorded forever!
