Peppa Pig
Last year the boys got to visit with Peppa Pig it was kinda cute and lots of fun. I wanted to document this special visit and used the bright happy colours in the Scraptastic It's My Life Kit to do so!
Love the arrow elements in the kit, they help to draw attention to important photos.

learning to read...
Today I am sharing another layout from this months Its my Life kit from Scraptastic. My youngest who just started school loves the Reading Eggs program on the computer...he wants to do it all the time so I wanted to capture this moment in my scrapbook.
.I added my journaling with my typewriter by winding the little tag through.
I added that QR code of him sounding out the words, it melts my heart

This months This Life Noted kit from Scraptastic is sooo me! Bright happy colours and patterns which is my favourite way to scrap!
I wanted to record a sweet memory that my boys are calling me lately..."Mumma" its not something they have always called me so I wanted to take the time to get it scrapped!

I used some orange Zing embossing powder from American Crafts to emboss some of the stamps on the label and added one of the exclusive flair buttons.

March Colour Suite
I was super honoured to be asked by one of my favourite scrappers Summer Fullerton to join in with her March Colour Suite over on the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog.
This was the stunning set of colours she sent me to interpret.
I loved the script image in the colour Suite so I couldn't help but add in some more of that for my title.
That handprint metal charm I have had for over 10 years, its from Making Memories, I finally found a place to use it!
One of my new Favourite items from the Heidi Swapp Dreamy collection is this glitter frame, it really makes everything pop on a layout.
Pop over to Summer's blog to see her gorgeous layout here.
Thankyou Summer, I was really excited to join in with you this month!

....and this is my layout. Once it was finished I was worried it was a bit too white but in the end I
went with it.
My starting point was this super super cute drawing from my youngest of he and my husband.
He is totally into drawing ATM so I found a few of his recent drawings and scanned and printed them off as well to complement my theme.

the next bit...
Today I am sharing more of my Heidi Swapp Memory Planner Album, week 6 through to today. I shared the first part of the year here.
This double shares the second page of pocket pages and my complete February calendar.
I love how you can customise each calendar page to your liking.
Next comes March.
I shared on Instagram how I customised the March prompts page to suit my colours! I punched out a circle of yellow pattern paper and adhered it over the star. I then misted the Color Magic shape with Blush Color Shine and added it over the banner. I also added a strip of yellow pattern paper to the left side of my page.
As the month progresses I need to fill in the prompts box at the top...
With March being the month of St Patricks day I wanted to celebrate and focus on my 9th wedding anniversary that falls this month and how lucky I am. I created the shamrock with the glitter word and some Color Magic hearts.
I used the free March printable to create a flap for an extra photo.
I was inspired by the lovely Maggie Massey to add the lucky word to the top of my calendar page, I used some of the mint acrylic words and adhered them using my xyron sticker maker.
Here are some new favourite techniques I have used on this months calendar page so far...
1. I resized and printed off my QR code and punched it out with my circle punch and then added it to the date.
2. I found a free online photo editing site that edits and resizes your photo into a circular badge shape called Picresize, I then printed it off and again punched it out with my circle punch and added it to the date.
3. I hand stitched a small heart onto the date of our anniversary using some pink embroidery thread. (Next month I will simply place a sticker , photo or shape over the stitching that is on the reverse of the page.)
All those Aussies out there The Memory Planner and embellishments are available now at Spotlight. I made a quick visit to my local Spotlight this week and I have just heard more goodies have arrived and are on the shelf!

Just go with it....
Over at Scrap the Boys there is a fun colour combo challenge of yellow, blue and green this month.
This was my take on the fun colour palette.
I needed to document my feelings about having my youngest son's haircut recently for his first day of school.
More script writing...
The journaling is hidden behind the plastic envelope.
I hope you get a chance to play along with Scrap the Boys!

I kept a lock of his curls and placed it in a BasicGrey plastic envelope for prosperity.

Hero...
Sharing my final two layouts for February's Scraptastic Mr Big Kit and Add on.
Its been a while since I used kraft on a layout, it was a nice change. The combo of kraft, red, yellow and orange is very striking, I think Ill be using that again.
These alphas by October Afternoon are a new fav!
......and yep you can see I am kinda obsessed with Script right now like they are obsessed with Angry Birds. It drives me bananas some days! I added in one of their playing cards to my banner, adds an authentic touch I think!
Don't forget if you are in Melbourne or want to fly in there are limited seats still available for the Master Class with Heidi and Becky, I will be there I hope to see you there too!
